In Memory Of

Rich Goeldner

We are deeply saddened to report the passing of Rich Goeldner, a valued team member, and friend.

Rich worked for large, international accounting firms and, later, helped build FairValue Advisors with Dan Cenatempo and Kevin Couillard. Rich earned multiple valuation designations during his career and gave back unselfishly by speaking, presenting, and writing on valuation topics. He
was a talented teacher and well respected in his field.

Rich is remembered fondly by his colleagues, and we will miss him very much.

“Rich had a kind and gentle soul and was a very special person to lots of people. He loved his family, everything business valuation, and teaching and mentoring on business valuation topics. In business and his personal life, Rich made friends with everyone he met.” – Dan Gallogly

“Whether he was traveling, up late at night, or in a kayak, Rich always made time to assist with experienced insights on complex valuation topics or just listen as a friend. I will certainly miss that.” – Kevin Couillard

When he wasn’t mentoring CBA candidates through the IBA Mentor Program, dedicating time to the ministries of his church, or serving on the editorial board of The Value Examiner, you could find Rich fishing from his kayak in St. Simon Island. Rich grew up around the water in Jacksonville, Florida, married Sandi, the love of his life, and immensely enjoyed weekend trips to visit his children.

Rich will be deeply missed by his family, friends, colleagues, and those he has touched throughout his life.
