FVA Completes Put Liability Valuation
FVA recently completed the valuation of a Put Liability whereby the deemed seller in an exchange of companies granted a put liability to the buyer allowing the buyer to "put" the exchanged company back to the seller in return for a minimum level of cash. The valuation was completed for financial reporting purposes.

Rich Goeldner Awarded 3rd Designation
Rich Goeldner awarded 3rd business appraisal designation - The National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts (NACVA) has awarded Rich Goeldner with the designation of Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA). Rich already holds the Accredited Senior Appraiser designation from the American Society of Appraisers and the Certified Business Appraiser designation from the Institute of Business Appraisers. After 20 years of appraising businesses, the CVA designation is a long overdue addition and Rich is excited about the resources and networking opportunities through NACVA.

Kevin Couillard Presents at American Business Appraisers Conference April 2013
"Simulations, Lattices, & Real Options" - Kevin co-presented with long-time colleague Dr. David Ewert this full-day workshop on using simulation, lattice models and real options in today's valuation engagements. Contingent consideration, complex equity interests, and intangible assets depend upon uncertain outcomes. The methods and tools presented in this workshop are increasingly used to model the uncertainty in these projects and present strong solutions.
Kevin and Dave have been presenting these topics through classes, seminars, and presentations for over ten years.
